Holidays to New Zealand
Landscape
It is often said that New Zealand has the best bits of every
country in the world. Certainly the scenery is quite
astounding, from majestic alpine peaks to lush sub-tropical
rainforest, golden sandy beaches to spouting geysers.
Remarkable, too is the variety of contrasting scenery
evident in one small country. This means that if you are
touring during your holidays to New
Zealand, one day is seldom like the next; some new
and more delightful prospect is around every bend in the
road.
Great Outdoors
With over a quarter of the country's land area devoted to
national park, there's every opportunity to get out and
explore the remarkable natural wilderness of New Zealand.
Nowhere else will you find such a pristine environment nor
so many opportunities to experience some wondrous wildlife
encounters in such proximity.
Relaxation
New Zealand is the place to relax and unwind, far from the
stresses of everyday life. You can enjoy every variety of
sporting and leisure activity you'd care to imagine, while
those with a fondness for good living will be in their
element. World class wines, the finest of culinary skills
and very reasonable prices make Holidays to New Zealand a
true gourmet's paradise.
People
New Zealanders are hospitable by nature and welcoming of
visitors. You'll notice a very 'can-do' attitude that is
both relaxed and refreshing to provide you with good company
and helpfulness throughout your stay.
Getting Around
Despite giving the appearance of great space and distance,
New Zealand is surprisingly compact - just 1000 miles from
the tip of the North Island to the toe of the South Island,
and only 280 miles at its widest point. This means that it's
easy to travel from one place to another. Roads, rail, ferry
and air services are first class and good value. Self drive,
either by car or campervan, is a popular option with UK
visitors who will be quite at home driving on the left on
uncrowded roads through gorgeous scenery.. |
